Julie Carroll, SHRM-SCP
Julie has spent over 20 years establishing, growing, and managing the People Ops/HR function in organizations that range from venture-capital backed startups in the high-tech industry to a subsidiary of a Fortune 500 manufacturer. She has direct experience in the medical device and diagnostics fields, the clinical trials/CRO industry, state government as well as the nonprofit sector. Julie specializes in strategic HR for small and mid-size firms, helping them ensure that their HR processes are compliant and enhance the company’s strategy.
Julie earned her B.A. from Appalachian State University and holds the Senior Certified Professional designation (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Management. Julie is active in her community, currently serving as Board Chair for the Durham Center for Senior Life.
